Here is a preliminary agenda:
· 2013 Softball Tournament Results
· By laws Officers election October 2013 / Terms and succession
· Communication and Web site
· Events Presidents Blue & Gold Gala 2013 (Sept. 21), Golf Tournament, Khaki Plaid, Softball 2014
· Fund Balance – Draft policy, reserve, uses – 50% academics / extra-curricular activities & 50% infrastructure
· Marketing – Assign committee for golf and softball tournaments
· Calendar – set quarterly meetings (July, October, January, and April)

ALL GAMES SUSPENDED FOR SATURDAY, MAY 25 DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS.

Dear Knights,
The Tournament is here. Please join us for our KICK-OFF event tonight 6-10PM, HC Convocation Center. Free refreshments (while it last) and light snacks. Team captains make sure to settle the entry contribution before games begin. The Holy Cross Alumni Association is selling a limited amount of T-shirts ($15), please see attachment. We pray that everyone has a safe and enjoyable weekend. Please join us for all or any part of the festivities. We are celebrating mass on Sunday at 12:00 noon to remember our fallen brothers and sisters. God Bless Holy Cross, our servicemen and servicewomen, families, and friends!

The Alumni Association is selling T-shirts at the tournament. All proceeds will support our cause for the betterment of Holy Cross. The T-shirts are $15.00, interested parties can contact Mr. David Fuentes, ’89, this weekend May 24-26 at camp 89 or any member of the Association to purchase one.

Dear Knights,

We are ready for the tournament. Over 60 knights attended last nights captains’ meeting. Please get with your captain and prepare for the weekend. Note that the rules and regulations are linked here: HCAA 2013 Football field Parking entry exit rules 05172013 and HCAA 2013 Softball Rules and Regulations.

Also, as you come on campus please take notice of the brand new port shade on the girls’ softball field. This was provided by your Holy Cross Alumni Association.

On another note, to honor our deceased Knights and to honor our deceased servicemen and servicewomen, we will be hold Mass on Sunday at 12:00 noon in the Convocation Center. Games will stop from 12-1 p.m.

We look forward to a banner year and I look forward to seeing you this Memorial Day Weekend!

WHO: ALL MEDIA INVITED.

WHAT: A Holy Cross student will be presented with the “Service Scholarship” by the Melissa Villalpando Memorial Scholarship made possible by Hope for the Future. The Melissa Villalpando Memorial Scholarship was founded in 2009 by the family of  Melissa Villalpando, who unexpectedly passed away due to a pulmonary heart condition.  Melissa was especially dedicated to the success of catholic schools and served as a team member for ACTS retreats in San Antonio. Her dedication to catholic schools and her passion for volunteering is the reason why the family has chosen to continue this scholarship in her memory. The scholarship is awarded to a junior for their senior year’s tuition assistance. The student will be announced at the ceremony.

WHO: ALL MEDIA INVITED (esp. Sports Media). Oklahoma Panhandle State University has offered Zachary Ryan Fernandez a full scholarship.

WHAT: For the 2012-2013 school year, Zachary Ryan Fernandez is the fourth athlete offered a full scholarship to attend a university. The school will, therefore, host an official signing ceremony for Zachary Ryan Fernandez, Class of 2013. Mr. Fernandez plans on majoring in Criminal Justice at Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
