Dear Knights,

Thanks to all the Knights who supported the third annual President’s Blue and Gold Gala. It was a great night and a tremendous benefit for the school. Save the date for next year, September 19, 2015.

Please note that the next alumni association meeting is Wednesday, October 1st at 7PM / HC Library. See the agenda below. Also, make sure to send this note to your classmates.

Tailgate is THIS FRIDAY, 9/26 starting at 5 PM. Setup starts at 12 noon.

The pep rally will be at 7 PM.

Each class does something special so be sure that you have all of the details surrounding the event.

All of us at Holy Cross are looking forward to seeing you at the 2014 President’s Blue & Gold Gala this Saturday, September 20th at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort & Spa, Cibolo Canyon Ballroom, 23808 Resort Parkway, San Antonio, TX 78261. The event attire is black tie optional. There is satellite parking available in front of the ballroom entrance for $9.00/vehicle.

It is hard to believe that 10 years has passed so quickly but we are now celebrating our 10 year anniversary of coeducation at Holy Cross of San Antonio. To commemorate this joyous anniversary, the PTC is selling a limited quantity of anniversary polo’s for $25 each.

Students who purchase the polo may wear it to school on regular uniform days.

Are you a female alumna? If so, be sure to mention it when you contact Mrs. Jordan to order your shirt and receive a special discount!

We’re able to sustain this educational goal through strong fundraising efforts such as the annual President’s Blue & Gold Gala.

In your prayers please remember Manuela Vela, who died on Thursday, September 4, 2014.  Manuela is the mother of Osvaldo Constantino Vela, Class of 1982.  Other nephews of Manuela who graduated from Holy Cross are Paul Charles ’69, Mark Charles ’74, Frank Flores ’85 (Deceased), Marcelo Garcia ’86, and Fernando Flores ’94.
