He is also the brother of David Hernandez Class of 1974; brother-in-law of Pete Castillo Class of 1985; cousin of Rene Aguirre Class of 1996, R. J. Aguirre, Class of 2006 and Anthony Saenz Class of 2008; and uncle of Cameron Castillo Class of 2019.
