A note from Tom Castro’s wife, to be shared with his high-school classmates.
“Tom retired in 2013 after a 40-year career as a hospital administrator. He died at home on May 8, 2018, at 10:00 am, in the presence of his family, after the swift onset and progression of liver cancer. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Beth, and his two children, Haley and Simon.
He left this life very curious about what was next. He said to tell anyone who asked that he and God were tight. Other than that, to say he loved his family and old friends.”
The funeral Mass will be at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, 1147 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78226, on June 2, 2018, at 10:00 AM. Sister Stella is putting it all together. John Balleza is officiating. His sister, Jennifer, is hosting a reception afterwards.
