  1. I called the office and spoke with Ms. Elizabeth Eguia-Garcia, Vice President of Advancement & Public Relations at Holy Cross of San Antonio and she was very informative and did inform me that the grant awarded by Scanlan Foundation is for tuition assistance/scholarships. The entire gala including live and silent auctions will be matched up to $75,000 for tuition assistance. I also learned from her that the foundation didn’t match dollar per dollar the track project. Nonetheless, the campaign to rebuild the track field is underway and much is happening behind the scenes so those that contributed that night should feel good about the future.

  2. Can’t say enough about the event and what it does for the school. I enjoyed myself at the event and what an honor it was to have contributed and all of us can contribute at any level from securing a table or two to taking part in the silent and live auctions. Kudos to all who made this possible and the generous donors especially! What will be historic from this year’s gala besides the fact that Ms. Vikki Carr was in attendance and the money raised for redoing the track field is the generous dollar for dollar matching committment from the Scanlan Foundation. Read more about the foundation and let’s praise Jesus Christ for people who care about our school http://scanlanfoundation.com/1901.html .
