The annual Run with a Mission 5K is set for Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Mission County Park #1 (802 VFW Boulevard). The event begins with Mass followed by the kid’s run and 5K run/walk.

* As a reminder, the PTC will be selling locker boards on Wednesday, 10/14, Thursday, 10/15 and Friday, 10/16 after school in the breezeway for $7 each. All students (Middle and High School) are encouraged to show their Holy Cross pride.
NHS PINK OUT SHIRT: PRE-SALE ORDER
The National Honor Society (NHS) is selling the Pink Out Shirt for $10.00. If you would like to place an order, please send the money with your student’s name and shirt size with your student. The pre-sale is only for one week.
The shirt is dedicated to Father Joe Moyer.
The Holy Cross Chess Club
Monday, September 21st, the Chess club got off to a great start in the Holy Cross library. Experienced players pitched in and gave the newbies tips on the game. We meet every Monday in the library. All are welcome! For more information, please see Mrs. Braeuler.
2015 Annual Booster Club BBQ Plate Sale 9/26
The Holy Cross Athletic Booster Club is looking for volunteers to donate items and or assistance with serving on the day of the Annual Booster Club BBQ Plate Sale on Saturday, September 26th.
The Booster Club will be selling tickets and collecting money on Wednesday, September 9th and 16th in front of the weight room from 5-7 p.m.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR BOYS & GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS
The Cross Country Teams at have been working hard every morning since August 12th.
Last Saturday, September 12th the boy’s team of Bradley Reyes, Joseph Lafuente, and Aaron Torres competed in the Central Catholic Relays and placed 43rd out of 135 teams.
Yesterday, September 17th both boys and girls competed in the Bandera invitational. Bradley Reyes finished 45th out of 140 runners with a time of 20 minutes and 45 seconds in the 3 mile. Joseph Lafuente finished right behind Bradley in 46th place with a time of 20 minutes 46 seconds. Destini Salas finished 20th out of 82 runners with a time of 16:06 in the 2 mile.

2015 has been unfolding into such a great year as our Alumni Association has built an incredible amount of MOMENTUM!
Since the beginning of the year you have hopefully seen, heard or felt the presence of the Alumni Association in one of the many events we have hosted or sponsored. It’s the result of being intentional and prepared to make a DIFFERENCE to the Holy Cross community.
We are hosting a GENERAL MEETING this Wednesday, September 16th at 6:30pm at the Holy Cross Convocation Center. We will be announcing changes to our organization, a new long-term strategy, plus much more!
How can you HELP?
