The Feast of Sharing is the culmination of a year-round commitment H-E-B makes to fight hunger. In addition to a holiday meal they provide guests with music, arts & crafts, and kids activities for the day. The Feast of Sharing event is this Saturday, December 17th at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center from 11AM-4PM.

They are still in need of volunteers, if you would like to volunteer, please contact Mrs. Deseri Ybarra (HC Parent) at Ybarra.deseri@heb.com or text her at 210-663-3725.

This past Saturday, our Holy Cross Knights helped the Inner City Development with their annual toy drive. The toy drive is organized for families throughout the Westside. Our students joined volunteers from Marshall High School, and the community. The students also met a volunteer who is a Holy Cross Graduate of 1989. It seems that the Holy Cross heart is one of service no matter what year one graduates.

Here are some photos from the Tamalada this past Saturday. They started making the tamales around 9:30 a.m. after a quick demonstration. Groups were divided up into five stations to help make 55 dozen pork tamales for the Las Posadas on Friday. Thank you to all of the students and families who volunteered! A special thank you to First Aid Plumbing who donated breakfast tacos.
