HOLY CROSS’ LILLIAN ESCOBEDO, NAMED KSAT 12 INSTANT REPLAY SCHOLAR ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Holy Cross Senior, Lillian Escobedo, Class of 2015 was named the KSAT 12 Instant Replay Scholar Athlete of the Week on Sunday, April 5, 2015.

Lilly’s Accomplishments Include:

  • Captain of the Varsity Cheer Team
  • Vice President of the National Honor Society
  • Member of the Student Knight Ambassadors
  • Secretary of the Student Council
  • Volunteers at St. Luke’s Vacation Bible School, the Blind and Deaf Convention and with the Special Olympics

Ms. Escobedo plans to attend Abilene Christian University and major in English and then go on to attend Law School.

The Holy Cross classical choir under the direction of Mr. Kurt Kendall, professional musician practices every Wednesday from 2:30-3:00 PM. The choir is open to all Holy Cross students and Holy Cross alumni.

Plans to travel to the St. Joseph’s Oratory in Montreal Canada are in the works for 2016.  Currently the choir is looking for members and sponsors.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association is looking for volunteers to help with the 2105 Muscle Walk held at the AT&T Center.
