CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR POWERLIFTING TEAM
Holy Cross Junior’s, Robert Adame, Raymond Casarez, and Joseph Pena competed at the State Powerlifting competition this past weekend. All three individuals brought home wins.
Joseph Pena who won a State Title with a record breaking 930 lb squat. He also had a total of 1930 for all three of lifts. Robert Adame and Raymond Casarez are ranked in the top 15 in the entire state of Texas.

ATHLETIC BANQUET TICKET INFORMATION
Attention Parents,
2015-2016 Athletic Banquets are scheduled for Tuesday, May 3rd (Middle School) and Wednesday, May 4th (High School) at 6 pm in the Holy Cross Convocation Center. All tickets are $10 each and students, that are being recognized, are complimentary.
In order to better prepare for this year’s event and to ensure that everyone has a great experience, we are ONLY offering PRE-SALE tickets and tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door. The Booster Club are selling tickets every Wednesday in front of the weight room from 5 pm – 6:30 pm.
If you absolutely cannot attend one of the days that we will be selling (April 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th), please contact Maxine Gonzalez at 210-415-3786 to make special arrangements for purchase.

HC BOYS POWERLIFTING
The Boys Powerlifting Team qualified for the Region 5 Division 2 in the Texas High School Powerlifting Association.

FIRST FEMALES TO QUALIFY FOR THE POWERLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIP IN SCHOOL HISTORY
Kathrina and Dominique are the first females to qualify for the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association State Championship in school history. The Girls Powerlifting Team placed 4th this past weekend in Corpus Christi, TX.

DANCE TEAM WINS BIG OVER SPRING BREAK
Congratulations to the Golden Knights Dance Team for winning 6 National Championships and 1 Grand National Championship over Spring Break.

A big congratulations goes out to Kathrina Rangel’12, Dominique Covarrubias’11, Analee Uriegas’11, and Breanna Santos’11 for qualifying to compete at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association Regional Championships. The Regional Championships will be held at Carrizo Springs High School on Saturday March 5, 2016. We cheer them on as they compete for their chance to qualify for State Championships. Way to go ladies!!!

The middle school baseball team participated in their first tournament of the season this past weekend at the St. Gregory the Great. They brought home first place!
