Congratulations, to senior Henrianna Ibarra, ’17 she was selected as the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Player of the Week in the state of Texas. Henrianna was presented with a custom patch and certificate to commemorate her accomplishments on the volleyball court.

Due to the sudden passing of a San Antonio Christian Schools parent, the Varsity football game has been postponed to Saturday, October 8th at 7:00 p.m. at the SACS football field. The freshman game has been moved to Thursday, November 3rd at 4:30 p.m. at Holy Cross.

CROSS COUNTRY SEASON UPDATE
The boys and girls cross country team has been working hard since August 1st. This years team has a record number for boys and girls, out for the team. On September 7th, the team competed in their first meet of the season in Bandera, TX. Mercedes Reyes, placed 4th in the girls division with a time of 15:45. Destini Salas, placed 5th with a time of 16:11. There was a total of 60 runners in the girls division. Jonathon Torres, placed 3rd in the JV boys division and Eddie Boy Flores, Aaron Torres and Vincent Leza, all finished with respectable times in the top of the pack. Joseph Lafuente, finished 22nd in a tough Varsity boys division and Nathan Velasquez and Bradley Reyes both finished in the top of their divisions with respectable times.
Congratulations to the Cross Country Team! Best of Luck on the rest of the season!
