Here are some photos from the Tamalada this past Saturday. They started making the tamales around 9:30 a.m. after a quick demonstration. Groups were divided up into five stations to help make 55 dozen pork tamales for the Las Posadas on Friday. Thank you to all of the students and families who volunteered! A special thank you to First Aid Plumbing who donated breakfast tacos.

IN MEMORY OF RON GUERRERO

In your prayers please remember Ron Guerrero who passed away last December. Ron attended Holy Cross in 1976-1977 as part of the class of 1980 but he left to attend East Central High School his sophomore year. Nicknamed, “Tank” while he was at Holy Cross, he had a major impact on the class of 1980. Please keep the family and friends of Ron Guerrero in your thoughts and prayers.

Please support the Senior Class Fundraiser by ordering a Butter Braid Bread. They make a perfect dessert option for the holidays. Orders will be taken from November 16th through December 3rd. Delivery is December 15th at 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Earlier this month, the Holy Cross Robotics team competed in the San Antonio Boosting Engineering Science and Technology (SA BEST) competition. The Robotics team took home 3rd place at the competition. They will be heading to the state championship in a few weeks.
