DIAPERS FOR THE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF SAN ANTONIO

Mr. Angel Cedillo, Dean of Students, has been working hard with our Holy Cross Knights for several weeks to help prepare preemie-diapers for children as a special service project. These diapers will go directly to families who would not otherwise be able to afford them.

Keep up the great work, Knights!

Dear Friends of Holy Cross,

Why do your Texas Representatives and Texas Senators treat you and your children as second class citizens?  That’s right!  You pay school district taxes.  You pay for school bonds. Parents pay tuition at Holy Cross or any other non-public school and the tuition is not a deductible expense. Parents receive nothing from these expenditures. Stop and think!  Isn’t it time to correct this situation?  Yes, and here is where you must get involved.

NATIONAL SCHOOL CHOICE WEEK

January 25th through January 31st

PLEASE JOIN ME IN SUPPORT OF THE

SCHOOL CHOICE RALLY FOR CATHOLIC AND NON-PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Wednesday, January 28, 2015

St. Anthony Catholic High School

3200 McCullough Ave.

4:00 PM to 5:00 PM

**Brother Mike has approved  for students who attend the School Choice Rally to receive service hours.

Many times you have received messages from me about School Choice.  I have presented School Choice to you at Parent Teacher Club meetings and in various articles.  It is the Texas Legislature that considers you and your children second class citizens not worthy of equal return for your contributions. Isn’t now the time to change that treatment?

Change in the Texas Legislature will happen only if YOU make it happen. To learn more about what must be done to secure equal treatment for parents and children attending Catholic and other non-public schools.

I look forward to seeing you at the Rally for School Choice.

Sincerely in Holy Cross,

Bro. Stanley Culotta, CSC

School Choice in Education is the privilege and right of parents to select the school or educational system for their children and to direct to that school or educational system the equivalent per pupil tax funds available and distributed to the public educational institutions.
