SENIOR BREAKFAST
On Tuesday, August 23rd, the Holy Cross of San Antonio Alumni Association sponsored the second annual senior breakfast. The seniors heard from the Alumni President, Mr. Juan Barrera ’88, who encouraged the seniors to enjoy their senior year and to work hard. The Alumni Association also gifted each senior with a Holy Cross lapel pin.

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT
Congratulations to Miss. Kellie Alcozer ’11, for being recognized at the San Antonio Hispanic Association of Journalists 2016 Gala, held this past weekend. Miss. Alcozer was awarded a scholarship for her studies at Texas State University where she is a Mass Communications major with an emphasis on Public Relations. She recently completed a Public Relations/Multimedia internship at Palo Alto College. In addition, Miss. Alcozer was selected to attend the North American International Auto Show and the NASCAR Brickyard 500 as a student journalist.

JUNIOR SELECTED FOR THE UNDER ARMOUR ALL-AMERICAN PRE-SEASON TOURNAMENT
Congratulations to Jaime Ramirez ’18 for being selected for the Under Armour All-American Pre-Season Tournament. The baseball tournament will take place Friday, January 13, 2017-Sunday, January 15, 2017. Jaime plays football, basketball and baseball for Holy Cross. Last year he was named All-State 1st Team for football and baseball.

VARSITY VOLLEYBALL PLACES 1ST IN TOURNAMENT
This past weekend the Knights Varsity Volleyball Team placed 1st in the TAPPS Border Wars Tournament with a record of 7-0. Daisy Flores and Henrianna Ibarra were named to the All-Star Tournament Team.
