MONSIGNOR DERMOT BROSNAN, PROCLAMATION PRESENTATION

Today during Mass we held the Proclamation presentation for Monsignor Brosnan. Monsignor Brosnan dedicated his life to counseling, mediation and youth activities which rapidly grew into a full time ministry for him. To address this growing need Msgr. Brosnan requested and was granted authorization by the Archdiocese to devote his time exclusively to working with persons addicted to various substances. The Proclamation will be on display for a couple of weeks.

NHI SILVER CUP TROPHY

NHI (National Hispanic Institute) participants from Holy Cross of San Antonio are Back to Back Champions of the annual Ambassador Great Debate. Because Holy Cross is one of the top producing Great Debate schools, we now have the opportunity to host the Silver Cup Trophy for 3 weeks.

At the beginning of October the teams were recognized at City Hall with the Silver Cup and it has made its way to different high school campuses since then. Now, it is our turn to host the trophy.

Please be sure to stop by the school office and see the trophy as it is proudly displayed at the front desk.

Around the world, a St. Edward’s University education in the Holy Cross tradition stands for academic excellence, diversity, collaboration and service to others. And through our commitment to Holy Cross high school graduates, we continue to ensure the Holy Cross mission and values live on.

And if students apply by Dec. 15, and we’ll also waive the $50 application fee.
