SENIOR, JAY NAVA SIGNS WITH SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY
On Monday, May 1, 2017; Mr. Jay Nava, Class of 2017, signed his commitment letter to attend Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Jay will play Half Back on the Pirate’s Football team and will be competing in the shot put and discus on their track team. Jay will be studying Music and Education while at Southwestern University. During his signing, he was accompanied by his football and track teammates along with Coaches Mike Harrison, Angel Cedillo, Roy Salas, Brian Ortiz, his family and Principal, Henry Galindo.
Mr. Nava is set to graduate as Salutatorian this May and Holy Cross is very proud of his academic career. He worked hard taking Dual Credit classes at Our Lady of the Lake University. This weekend, Mr. Nava will be competing in the District TAPPS State meet in the shot put and discus events.
