Singing daily for at least ten minutes reduces stress, clears sinuses, improves posture

and can even help you live longer.

If you are interested in joining the Holy Cross Classical Choir,

stop by Mr. Garza’s room #5 by this Wednesday, August 19th to sign up.

You do not need previous choral experience to participate in the choir.

Anyone can sign up to be in the choir, regardless of your background music!!

The first practice is this Thursday, August 20th at 10:00am.

Please remember to sign up prior to the first practice in order to be released from class.

Reasons to join:
*Research has proven that students who have music included

in their daily learning perform more highly in reading, writing, and math.
*The longer a student studies music, the higher his or her

scores tend to be on all three portions of the SAT.
*College admissions officers give special consideration to students who are part of their

high school music programs because of the skills and responsibility that is develops in the students.

*Make new friends and represent Holy Cross at different events!!
