This morning a few of Holy Cross’ Senior Varsity Football players along with Head Coach, Mike Harrison were on “Game On With David Flores”, a segment of KENS 5 Great Day SA Morning Show.

MIDDLE SCHOOL FAMILY DAY HIGHLIGHTS

Middle School Family Day was held last Thursday, November 6, 2014. The event highlighted the Middle School students, who were able to give their families tours of their classrooms, have the chance to meet their teachers, and show case some of their best work. The event concluded with a fellowship breakfast and a prayer service led by the National Junior Honor Society.

A special thanks to Mrs. Sambrano for putting on a wonderful event for our Middle School students and their families!

SENIOR RETREAT

It is Holy Cross tradition to sendoff our Seniors before leaving on retreat  with a traditional blessing at the grotto where their families and friends are welcome to come and participate in the blessing and sendoff. The Seniors are scheduled to return from Houston on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 5 p.m.

Praying for our Seniors, Faculty and Staff who are all on Retreat!

Congratulations to our district champion football team! They finished district a perfect 6-0.

They will host a first round playoff game against Arlington Pantego Christian.

Tickets will not be pre-sold for the game. They are $7 for adults and $4 for students at the gate.

KNIGHTS CLAIM AIAL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

(San Antonio, TX) On Friday, October 24, 2014 the Holy Cross Middle School Football Team defeated St. Mary’s of Fredricksburg 33-26 to become the AIAL Champions. AIAL (Archdiocesan Interscholastic Athletic League) is organized to provide a structured Christian athletic program for Schools in the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Both teams entered the game with an undefeated preseason.
