NATIONAL SIGNING DAY: HOLY CROSS’ JOHN PAUL GARCIA SIGNS WITH CENTRAL METHODIST UNIVERSITY
(San Antonio, TX)- Holy Cross of San Antonio’s John Paul Garcia, Class of 2014, signed with Central Methodist University (CMU), which is located in Fayette Missouri. John Paul received an academic/athletic scholarship. Garcia will be studying Athletic Training at CMU and will be playing football.
Joined by his proud parents, extended family, teammates and coaches looking on, John Paul signed his letter of intent.
“John Paul will do well in whatever he sets out to do,” said Mike Harrison, Holy Cross Athletic Director. “He brings passion and heart to the field, which is an important quality for any athlete to have.”
“This is a proud moment for John Paul and Holy Cross,” said Mr. Henry Galindo, Principal. “He is a dedicated student who understands that hard work leads to success, we wish John Paul all the best at Central Methodist University.”
National Signing Day, usually the first Wednesday of February, is the first day that a high school senior can sign a binding National Letter of Intent to play a sport with a University that is a member of the United States National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
